[1] Wat Ban Den, Chiang Mai

LOCATION: Wat Ban Den, Chiang Mai
POSTED BY: Henk Verbeek
CAPTION: Somewhere halfway between Chiangmai and Chiangdao is the beautiful Wat Ban Den. The temple is very richly decorated with striking blue and gold tiles. There are nagas, singhas, a sizeable reclining Budha and also all the zodiac signs are depicted. It is quite a big complex, normally drawing many Thai and Chinese visitors.

[2] Three Whale Rock, Bueng Kan

LOCATION: Three Whale Rock, Bueng Kan
POSTED BY: Dirk Berghahn
CAPTION: This place is amazing and only about 35km away from Wat Puh Tok. So if you want to go there, start your day with Wat Puh Tok early in the morning and then the 3 Rocks. From the parking lot, pickup trucks will take you up to the Rocks; 1 truck 6 people 500 Baht. Coming back from the rocks you will have 3 more stops with nice viewpoints and the Elephant Rock.

LOCATION: Prasat Nakhon Luang, Ayutthaya
POSTED BY: Napassakarn Pfeiffer
CAPTION: It’s called “Nakhon Luang Palace” , built about 400+ years ago, about 20 mins from the main Ayutthaya. Not well-known even for local. I think it is such a beautiful place and more people should know about it.
